    Year-round: the south-west is one of the driest regions of Madagascar. From April to October the sky is clearest and the sea steadiest; from November to March it is hotter and a few tracks need a 4×4.

    An international flight to Antananarivo, whatever your continent of departure, then Toliara by domestic flight (about an hour) or by national road 7 (two days). Schedules and fares change too fast to be published: confirm them with the airlines or the team.
